# Question about disappearing threads

I posted in a thread yesterday that has apparently since been deleted. Is it legit to ask why and, if so, would the correct way to do that be emailing one of the mods directly? I can guess it was because of the fact that the poster who started the thread was a sock puppet (he/she was a guest). Would the mods confirm this if I asked or would it be none of my business? The thread itself was nothing offensive - just a music poll in Cafe Society.
