# Question about Femore- "female sex aid"

Okay guys, I need you to give me the lo-down on this… What all’s in this stuff, _how_ is it supposed to improve sensitivty… and, most importantly… Does anyone know if this stuff really works? 😃

Menthol? Egad. I can tell you that menthol is gonna burn any sensitive mucous membrane you put it on, whether it’s up your nose or on your vulva. Is putting Vics Vap-O-Rub[sup]R[/sup] on your clitoris erotic? Speaking as the possessor of a clitoris, one vote here for “no”. :rolleyes:

DDG, the menthol is scarcely a consideration; note that it’s listed last, indicating that there is less than 1% present in the formula, and probably less than 0.1% (the typical amount of propyl paraben used to preserve such formulations).
No, the alarming thing is the theophyllin. This stuff is an asthma medication, and there’s no way in hell it should be used in any cosmetic preparation. I don’t recall how it works just now, but I suspect it’s supposed to engorge the region with blood.
The menthol will give a little tingle, the L-arginine doesn’t do jack, and the rest is tyical lotion ingredients.

Theophyllin is also present in tea. Chemically, it is structurally related to caffeine and has similar properties, i.e., mild stimulant.
In somewhat larger dosages than your standard cup of tea, it can dilate bronchioles and help restore breathing.

Now, now, calm down. This stuff seems to be a run-of-the-mill sex lubricant. The menthol is probably thrown in to give it a pleasant taste and smell. (Some men are uncomfortable about nuzzling around the vaguely organic smell and taste of a woman’s Wonderful Place.) The glycerin is slick, and some of those other things are there to stabilize the mix.
Cosmopolitan magazine recently called lubricant their best (or hottest, or somethingest) sex tip. 🙂 The increased comfort, the silky feel, and so on. I personally agree with all that. You can get Astroglide at WalMart, and it costs much less than Femore. If you haven’t tried it, go get some now. There’s a Catch-22 built into many women’s bodies. They don’t get naturally wet until they are aroused. However, fondling of their tender parts doesn’t feel good until the natural wetness happens. These women end up getting dry-screwed, which isn’t much fun for them. Not much fun for the men, either, frankly. However, once a guy’s other head starts doing his thinking, all he can see is the finish line. :rolleyes: Sure, that’s a broad-brush generalization, but I was that way before I learned to be a patient lover.
So…if you want what Femore promises, try some Astroglide. You’ll like it! 😛
