Most if not all of the names on that list are Jewish - Bulgaria used to have a large and vibrant Jewish community. Their names follow different conventions, obviously. My FIL’s family is from Bulgaria; his last name is derived from a Turkish word for tax collector, while his mother’s maiden name is Spanish in origin.
