# Question about searches

I have been trying to look up threads on DVD related topics in the last couple of days, but the minimum length of searchable words is 4 letters.

Is there a way to search for 3 letter words or acronyms?

I feel your pain **RickQ**. I’ve been hoping that the SDMB will change this policy so that I can search for my name. But, for the time being, you can only search on terms of four characters or more.
