# Question about the 60 second rule

I was wondering when the 60 seconds starts. For example. I post. 45 seconds later, I try to post again and get the 60 second warning. My question is, do I need to wait another 60 seconds, or just 15 more? Do the 60 seconds start over everytime I make an attempt?

I realize this isn’t the most earth-shattering question ever posted, but I would like to know.

Not sure; if my experience is any indication it’s 60 seconds from the time your post first appears to you. The only time I’ve ever had that flood control message was when the system was running slow and I was already into another post by the time my previous one hit.
