# Question about warnings and tickets...

So, I have been pulled over once before, and I got a warning, not a ticket. I saw him write down my information though, and I don’t know if they put it in a record database or something if I only get a warning. This was like 2 years ago.

So, my question is, when I get pulled over next time (if there is a next time), and they ask me “Have you ever been pulled over before?” will they know if I lie and say no?

Yes, they will know. The warning ticket is kept on record. (At least in Wisconsin it is).

Of course, after two years one might forget having been pulled over.
