About the song “Carry On”: On the Deja Vu album, this is the title; however, on the Greatest Hits (issued 2005), the title is shown as “Carry On / Questions”. The length of time apparently is the same, per Wikipedia. Online lyrics look like the same song. I recognize this song has two movements. Perhaps the newer title is now trying to cover both?

Maybe a fan can answer if these are one and the same song, and why the change in song title? Thanks.

The second movement of the song is a remake of the song “Questions” that was on _Last Time Around_, the Buffalo Springfield’s last album.

Apparantly, CSNY was stuck in the middle of recording the album and needed a track in a hurry. Stills had half of a song and combined it with a piece he wasn’t happy with earlier to make the whole. The result has always been the one song known from _Deja Vu_.

The first paragraph is correct. However, _Deja Vu_, also with 2 “movements,” was written by David Crosby.

The song “Carry On” was on the album called _Deja Vu._

That the album also had a song named “Deja Vu” is irrelevant.
