Curious then that he had several directors who worked with him more than once: Blake Edwards (6 films), Stanley Kubrick (2), Roy and/or John Boulting (5), Joseph McGrath (3), Vittorio De Sica (2!), John Guillerman (2), and Richard Quine (2). :dubious:

A pal of mine from college had the misfortune of being one of Peter Sellers’ many girlfriends. She was the kind of person who seldom spoke ill of anyone, but if the subject of Sellers came up, she’d launch into a tirade that would make David Mamet blush.
While this doesn’t prove that the man was - to use my friend’s words - a wretched, hateful prick (albeit a greatly gifted one), Sellers seems to have few, if any, admirers where his personal life is concerned.
