There’s a blurb in the paper today about ‘epizootic hemorhagic disease’ passing from deer to cattle in Ohio. The article is bylined Reynoldsburg. Is this related to, or a subset of, the chronic wasting disease that I read about affecting midwest deer populations?

(outside of animals, causing hemmorages?) If you don’t know, describe it in latin.
Transmitted by contact, maybe?

> EHD should not be confused with the always fatal chronic wasting disease, which has not been found in Ohio or Kentucky. CWD has been a problem in Wisconsin and has been found in Illinois and West Virginia.

Thank you, **Gfactor**. This far south and west, the article was trimmed down to about five sentences.
