Back in the day divorce lawyers actually had a stamp for that. These days divorce lawyer peons have a macro for that to save time typing.

I’m curious how many guys looked over their shoulder to see if their wife was around before typing their reply 😃

Buttsex, flirt with other girls…that’s pretty much it, I can pretty much do and buy whatever I want.

> You guys are all sounding nice but come on. She doesnt get mad at you buying something that goes along with one of your hobbies? She doesnt get mad at what you wear? She wouldnt get mad if you chose to spend the day with your buddies fishing? She doesnt demand you leave the stinky clothes you go hunting with in the garage?

Are you asking if my wife would be mad if I acted like an asshole to her? Well, yeah, she would. If I left stinky clothes lying around in the space she lived in, if I constantly left her to take care of our kids while I went out and had fun, if I made huge expenditures on my hobbies instead of following our plan for saving–I’d be acting like an asshole to her, of course she’d be mad.

Maybe that’s what my wife doesn’t let me do: she doesn’t let me get away with being an asshole to her. That’s one small part of the reason why I try not to be an asshole to her.

That said, of course she doesn’t get mad when I go to gaming group. It’s on the calendar, she knows not to arrange child-free things for herself during that time, and I watch the kids at other times so she can go off and do fun grownup things. Of course she doesn’t get pissed if I sometimes forget to pick up my socks. Sometimes she forgets too, and I’ll look after her. We love each other, we make allowances for each other, we forgive each other, we do nice things for each other.

> 1. There are a surprising number of men who feel like they can’t tell other men " I’m not going fishing this Saturday" for any other reason than “my wife won’t let me.” They won’t say because it’s because they don’t like fishing , or because they prefer to spend Saturday with their wife and kids. It’s like when kids don’t want to do something and blame it on their parents.

Oh god, how terrible. Sometimes my wife asks me to not do something I’d otherwise do–maybe she’s sick, or maybe se has plans that night, or maybe she’s concerned about the kids being supervised that that relative that she thinks is negligent, or whatever. I would NEVER lay the blame on her for that. Marital compromise demands I explain the reason I’m not doing it to the other relevant parties without blaming my wife. What kind of schmuck does the opposite?

Well, right. Nor does she try to push my boundaries. We’re not teenage rebels, dude.

Outside of politics, you and I agree on a lot of stuff :).

I was trying to be a bit more subtle.
