Be sure if you have any appliances that are neccesary for your daily beautification process, they can work on 220 volts (i.e. Hairdryer, alarm-clock, etc.). As a side note, some hotels have hairdryers, and some don’t, ironically most don’t have alarm clocks either. I wouldn’t take chances and bring whatever you need, but in the more convenient travel version.
Put all your toiletries in a plastic bag and close it up tight, just in case something explodes you don’t want it exploding all over your clothes.
Also go to radio shack and buy the silly plug converters so you can use your above mentioned appliances and stuff in the hotel.

One other thing,
If you decide to purchase of those little English to Whatever phrase dictionaries, get one that’s small enough to fit in your pocket. I made the mistake of buying a reasonably complete albeit larger than pocket sized one for one trip, and never had the patience to haul it around. Although it did come in handy when I had to explain the finer points of a specific Network Transmission Technology to a few of the locals.
Why not e-mail a mod now and change your name(re-register).
It’s not that important, but why not do something that most people will never notice, and, in the meantime, will short-circuit any other poster from bringing this up?
