# Question on cleaning car leather

To clean our leather couches, we use [Weiman’s](https://weiman.com/leather-cleaner-conditioner) cleaner and conditioner. Is the leather used for car dashes/door panels & seats different enough that I should not be using this when cleaning my car? Is there a better way to protect the leather in my car since it is in daylight all of the time?
