# Question on Straight Dope

According to **Ed Zotti** when this question was alluded to a couple of years back, the Reader bought up the unsold stock of books from the publisher, and would like to sell them down before starting a new book. (Or at least that’s what I remember being said – I think it’s accurate.)

Last I heard, the last of the Straight Dope books didn’t sell very well, and they’ve still got warehouses full of it that they want to get rid of before they even consider a new one.
