# Question regarding the Half-Life engine and it's dlls

This is kinda wierd, but i’m sure someone here will know…
In the past, i have used different mods to play regular half-life levels. For example, if you load a single player game of Opposing Force, and then in the console change maps to a regular half-life map (via the map command), you can use the Opposing Force weapons in regular half-life. You do need cheats for resupply, but it still works. BUT…
What i want to do is use a mod that is multiplayer only (The Opera, to be specific) to run single player maps. Every time i switch maps in the console though (even from the main menu), it automatically starts hosting a multiplyer game. It DOES put me in the map, but there are no monsters, because as i say, it is a multiplayer game. How do i get around this?
Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that the single player option is diabled from the main menu in this mod. Any clue how to re-enable it?
