1. I have seen several articles linking the Anthony on the White Lion with Anthony Johnson who won his freedom from indentured servitude in 1623. I haven’t found any reliable sources to say whether they are one and the same. I hope someone can help me answer that question.

2. Was the Portuguese ship that raided the Portuguese ship São João Baptista a galleon or a Dutch-style cargo vessel (fluyt)?
