Try going topless as a man, you’ll find few businesses welcoming of the concept so aside from being topless on the street or in a car which would probably also attract attention. There is a sort of code around where it is cool and not cool. ---

Public nudity isn’t illegal, per se, in New Zealand. A recent High Court case has decided that going [nude in public is the same as wearing gang patches](http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/8021858/Nude-jogging-same-as-a-gang-patch-judge). ---

Are you able to see other people carry food around, even if you are hungry, and not grab it from them? Then you should be able to see someone with their naughty bits hanging out and not feel the need to rape them. It’s being a civilized human being. ---

Yeah, I’m not buying the increase in rape incidents that much. Oh sure, until people totally learn the ropes, there will be those out there pushing the boundaries. But like **Skald** said, those are assholes anyway. They were just looking for an excuse. And I’d have no problems with nudity for anyone. Maybe we’d finally get past so many hang ups. ---

I saw several naked men standing out on the street in San Francisco, last time I drove past The Stud. I was not inspired to rape them. My female passenger was highly amused by the sight.
