1. Why is a woman in her natural form less beautiful than a shaved, manicured form?
No less beautiful. But I don’t like pubes in my teeth, though.
2. If your girlfriend/wife stopped shaving her armpit and vaginal area, would you be OK with that?
Yes
Would it ever been an issue that could potentially collapse a relationship?
No
3. In your experience, does the vagina have odors that are similar but distinct among ethnic groups?
No (well, no more than they are different from woman to woman anyway)
4. Does the vagina remain relatively taut post-pregnancy?
IME, yes.
Post-menopausal?
N/A
Have you ever been able to just not reach climax due to vaginal looseness?
Nope. (and dude, that’s like the worst way to ask for anal, ever!)
5. Does the consistency of a woman’s “climax” during orgasm ever drench a man’s penis similar to how the Japanese depict?
It can…

> Cite that it’s “common” for women to shave their pubic areas? Since when. What percentage of all women do you think do that? I’m betting it’s less than one percent.

You’d be off by, well, lots. At least as far as 18-24-year-old women who participated in this [study.](http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/sex/pubic-hair-shaving-waxing-au-naturale-a-new-study-sheds-light-on-american-womens-habit-2078333/)
According to her findings, 67% of 18-24 year olds shaved some off pubic hair, 57% had shaved it all off at some point in the past month, 6% had waxed some off in the past month, and 6% had waxed it all of in the past month.
Although the study does say there is a bit of variety in the styling.

> I don’t think, though, that pubic hair is feminine (or masculine). It’s human. Everyone has pubic hair, so I don’t see what’s so ladylike about it. It’s no more feminine than having eyebrows.

Yes, that’s a really good way of thinking about it. It’s not feminine in the sense that “women have it and men don’t” (in that sense long hair isn’t feminine, or nipples, or buttocks, or waists, or…), but in the sense of “women have it”. There are lots of characteristics that the genders share. It’s not unfeminine for women to have something that men also have.

“Men have kidneys – I don’t want a man, I want a _woman_! A woman with NO KIDNEYS! OR FEET! MEN HAVE FEET! NONE OF THAT QUEER STUFF HERE, THANK YOU.”

> It should be illegal for women not to shave. Those who don’t should be thrown in jail and forcefully shaved by police officers, who are of course all male because women shouldn’t be in law enforcement. In fact, women shouldn’t be allowed to be anything but housewives who cater to their husband’s every needs. Now get off the computer and get back in the kitchen, woman!

I don’t know much, but I thought you made yourself pretty clear from the start. I thought your use of “should” was obviously meant as your own opinion on how your partners, not every woman in the world. More annoying is this argumentative thread-jacking forcing your repeat yourself.

Back to the OP I am not a straight man but my opinion counts as much as my attraction to the female form is legitimate. I think women au natural are beautiful, cropped and clean is okay, but I LOATHE a shaved pubic area. It creeps me out because it looks like the pubes of a child and it kind of irks me that men would feel any woman “should” shave it completely. I dislike the fact that I’ve been made to feel I “should” shave something that, well let’s face it, IS NOT an easy area to keep bald. For some of us, it’s actually painful because our skin is so sensitive. It’s not a clean look, it’s an irritated red bumpy inflamed look. Yuck, right? Lucky for me my beloved Mig loves the hair. I have kinky curly red hair on my head and everywhere else. lol Some people may be feeling a bit queasy now but it’s true. I like it, Mig likes it so yay us. You, Gallan, are definitely entitled to prefer childlike pubes and I won’t even mock you for that preference. 😉

This is precisely why I said that the argument was impossible to respond to. I knew that you’d immediately dismiss any surveys or statistics that got posted. A survey of every woman in the world asking whether or not they shave their pubic hair does not exist. I’m still betting it’s 99%.

> FWIW I agree with **Dio** here. I find it really weird and a bit hurtful that so many blokes in this thread have been saying that adult women’s pubic hair is unfeminine. 😕

I disagree that it’s unfeminine. Some women, though, may find it more comfortable or easier maintenance-wise if they keep it trimmed or shaved. Some may consider it more aesthetic. Some men may prefer the look and feel of trimmed or shaved ladyparts, and there are plus points where, say, oral is concerned. (And it is a sexist issue - male pubic hair as a rule doesn’t render manparts hard to get at or keep clean.) The women I’ve known, though - at least, those I’ve known well enough to discuss their pubic hair with - have mostly preferred to keep what nature gave them. I merely suggest that the issue not be clouded with irrelevant and illogical name-calling.

Or, indeed, that those who are the loudest on the issue review their own prejudices, if they’re on record as saying that male foreskins look ugly and they’d circ their sons for that alone, if they had any sons.

Ha ha! “Are you some kind of a homo-sexual?” I agree that having pubic hair is un-feminine, but don’t I don’t see it as something particularly feminine either. It’s just a thing.

Adults have body hair. Children do not (well, maybe a fine down on the arms). Caucasians tend to have more body hair as adults, but all adults have some natural body hair. Removing all body hair makes one look more like a child IMO whether or not that is intended.

Age has a lot to do with it. I find that all the girls my daughters’ ages (20 & 25) as well as most of my sons’ past girlfriends shave. None of my old bat friends (I’m 50) do. ETA: I got to a “ladies only” gym. I’ve seen my share of naughty girly bits.

Also remember there are a lot of places in the world with far more pressing concerns than whether or not you’ve shaved yourself.
So my bet is 50% or less. 🙂

Are you under the impression that every place does not have more pressing concerns? Or that removing body hair is only something us decadent Westerners do? Neither is true.

By way of example, Muslims (both men and women) are supposed to lather up no less than every 40 days.

1. I’ve never been intimate with a woman who shaved her genital area. I have no idea what I’d think of it up close and personal. I’m perfectly happy with things being natural down there.
2. If my wife stopped changing her armpits, it wouldn’t be a deal-breaker, but the personality transplant that resulted in her no longer shaving there might be.
3. My sexual experience has been pretty much restricted to Caucasians, so I can’t speak to this.
4. Again, no experience here.
5. Had one GF who ejaculated on orgasm, which did involve quite a bit of fluid. (Looked like semen, was considerably more abundant than a male ejaculation - well, than mine, anyway - but not particularly sticky.) No particularly abundant orgasmic fluids with other women I’d been intimate with.

No, but your post implies that there are _some_ places where there aren’t more pressing concerns. Like here, presumably.
