# questions on new software

Congratulations to the tech team for a job quickly and efficiently done!

I do have a question: it seems like old threads with UBB quotes or lists are not being displayed correctly. Is this just temporary? (instead of seeing the “quotes” or “lists”, I see HTML commands being displayed by my browser when I view the thread.)

We hope that this will clear up as we work through everything; if not, it will pass as old posts fall and new posts take their place.

Please understand that this is a work in progress and there’s still quite a lot to be done. It’s new software and we’re finding out new things about it – mostly good things, but not so good things, too, that’s the nature of this particular beast.

It’s not going to be perfect today, or tomorrow, or maybe next week, but it’s going to get better.

Please report any other problems that you find to this forum; we’ll try to address these things soonest.

I was wondering if their is a “preffered” browser as well. I normally use netscape, but looked and saw a couple differences with IE. Does this new software cater to one more than the other?

This new format is WAY cool. I know the kinks aren’t all out yet but I really like it and appreciate the effort you guys put into this. Two thumbs up!!
