Who’s Led Zeppelin?
What did Michael Stipe look like when he had hair?
What is that huge black CD in the giant envelope over there? And who is “Peter Frampton” anyhow? Isn’t he that guy from “Behind The Music?”
When would you like to schedule your colonoscopy?
You are aware that a beer a day in a man your age may increase risk of prostate cancer?
WHAT THE HECK IS AN 8 TRACK?
I know that they were the first kind of audio cassette but apart form that, WHAT?
I really, really, REALLY have to know!
I’m only 15, and apart from this I know about nearly all of the stuff on this thread. I have a computer with both DOS and a 3 button mouse next to me as I type!
Ssarl, this website on the history of 8-tracks should answer your questions.
I never would have guessed that there would be a connection between 8-tracks and Learjets.
Well, this isn’t really a question as such. I was chatting to someone on Monday morning, and he said something to the effect that he didn’t like Mondays.
My natural reaction was to make a reference to the Boomtown Rats. (you know, their biggest US hit “I Don’t Like Mondays”) What came up next on my screen was something to the effect of: “I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
By the way, this comes from a guy who’s a year older than I am!
How could anyone not know who the Boomtown Rats are? Well, that I could understand, but when he drew a blank on the name Bob Geldof, I was certainly surprised.

Several years ago I was working in an office and the subject of Ricky Nelson came up.
A young’n came up and said “Ricky who?”
