Heh. Because communism _looks good on paper_ and many college professors have never experience the life in what the rest of us think of as the _real world_.
Why is my new manager such a dick? He brought me in because of my experience and ambition, but all of my ideas are being shot down and I’m starting to think I made a big mistake coming here (it’s only been 6 weeks, dammit). Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?

We have a number of new nail salons open in my neighbourhood lately. How come the only people I seem to see working at them are of Asian extraction?

Because when they die a week later from severe brain damgage brought on by working in an environment with almost no oxygen, they can be easily replaced by newcomers who are desperate not to be working as prostitutes.

Lovecraft said the proper way was to make a “Klooloo” sound in the back of your throat. I can do it, and it does not lend itself to transliteration. When you feel like you’re pronouncing a thing meant only to be spoken by inhuman beings and underwater, you’re there.The more common way is “kuh-THOO-loo”

I just thought of this the other day at work. Some really big guy said he had to pee and went off into the bathroom. A few minutes later I went in to wash my hands as he was coming out of a stall instead from where the urinals are.
I’d imagine that logistically it would be far easier to use a toilet than a urinal in such a case, and as I think back I don’t remember ever walking up to a urinal where there’s was an overweight guy standing a few urinals down.

Even on My Name is Earl, Joy was starting to get squeezed out of the business in the trailer park by an Asian immigrant lady. It is everywhere.

A coworker of mine fits into this grouping and I can say that everytime I’ve run into him in the restroom, he always uses a stall.
Why do people say to get a print screen you hit ALT+PrintScreen? I just hit PrintScreen without the ALT and it works every time. Is this a holdover from earlier times?

No, not a holdover. Printscreen alone captures the entire screen. Alt-printscreen just captures the current top-most window.
In a lot of cases, the one window is really all you want/need, and doing that saves a lot of useless cluter or manual trimming of the graphic.
Of course, if the top window is maximized you get the same result either way, except for the start menu / task bar (unless you also auto-hide that).
