I feel vaguely hungover and puky this morning. Apparently, I am entering another stretch of throwing up in the morning. The only thing my doctor will do is give me a pregnancy test. I \*\*know \*\* I’m not pregnant (if I am, you’d better alert the Vatican), I just go through these phases of pukiness. The only thing that helps is strawberry-flavored Ensure. See, I have this weird thing, where if I don’t eat, I get nauseated, and if I’m already nauseated and \*can’t \* eat, it turns into a vicious cycle. But I can keep Ensure down, and if I have that for breakfast, I can eat real food for the rest of the day. So, yum-yum, I had strawberry Ensure for breakfast and now I’m really hungry for the first time in days. I broke down this morning and bought some of this [gorgeous yarn](http://www.littleknits.com/proddetail.php?prod=TouchMeDue5407), AKA Orgasm Yarn, for a scarf I’ve been lusting over. The yarn is beautiful and extremely soft, like kitten fur. It’s nicknamed Orgasm Yarn, because whenever someone touches it for the first time, they go “Oooooohhhhhhh” and their eyes roll back in their head. **kai** , I was just thinking about you this morning and wondering how you’ve been. Hi everyone. I have been remiss in posting but with good reason. I got to go home to the UK for most of November! :Happyhappyjoyjoy: 😃 Then I got **the sick** from the flight back over here. Lots of sickies on that 9 hour flight - damn English germs And then last week you guys went after it and I couldn’t keep up with reading. So how y’all been? 😃 I had Christmas at home in November but I gave out my work gifts yesterday and on Sunday I baked 60 cookies from scratch. Choc chip, pecan nut and a secret caramel in the middle that you don’t know about till you bite into the cookie. Everyone was on a sugar high most of yesterday. As for today my local Starbucks did not have any “grande” lids so they gave me 2 talls for the price of one both with 3 shots in. I have been bouncing off the walls all morning which has kinda of covered up for the fact that now I have Wyoming germs and feel like poo. So leaving work early today. ---

**DoggieSlave** , is your booster club going to be coming to Columbus, GA? How can you turn down the chance to meet a ravishingly beautiful (if slightly overweight) redhead? On the other hand, you can’t mean Columbus, GA. Although if you’re in the area we have a nice barn and I guess it would make a good side trip for a bunch of hockey fanatics. ---

[/QUOTE] Columbus for an ECHL game, then Atlanta to beat the Thrashers. Like I said. it’s been an expensive year for me, other wise I’d be. I’d love to mix hockey and MMPers. ---

Dunno how it happened that I ended up married to Mr. Lissar. Oh, yes. Duress. 😃 I think it’s why I have auxiliary Husbands who actually eat. Speaking of which, I met Mr. Lissar at the dojo last night, and three different people greeted me with, “Hey! My wife!” Only one of them was Mr. Lissar. I’m doing oreo truffles and I’m experimenting with peanut butter cookie truffles. ---

Aw those kids are adorable **Shibboleth**. I am posting today because it’s the start of the week for me. I had my weekend Sunday and Monday. And since I got up at 2:30am I didn’t feel like posting in the morning. So this is my TEP (Tuesday Evening Post). I have that happy, smiley thing going on. I just got in from the supermarket and my neighbour opened her door to give me a Christmas card and some chocs. I don’t know them that well other than to say hello on the stairs and to annoy them when I accidentally bang the door as I leave for work in the middle of the night (I hope not!) so I thought it was extra special sweet. 🙂 I’ll have to try to think of something to get the family, I figured I’d get stuff for the kids though I’m not entirely sure how many there are. Two or three I think. In other news, I have exams for traindriving this week. Eeep! :eek: ---

Ok, **DB** , I guess I’ll have to forgive you. ::sniffle:: Although my feelings are hurt. Someone in your booster club may be a bit behind the times; we haven’t been in the ECHL for 3 years - we’re SPHL. Your group may be going to see the Gwinette Gladiators - they’re just outside of Atlanta (Duluth) and they’re ECHL. I finally got off my lazy butt and went out to tackle the front flower bed, which sorely needed attention. I made an interesting discovery. Certain plants, when frostbitten and thawed, take on the texture of overcooked asparagus. I’ve been slimed! I’m not finished in the yard yet - I’m just taking a back break, before my back breaks. ---

**ems!!** Damn good to see you again! I’m sorry to hear you’ve been sick. All you sickies stop it! You’re going to make me sick and I JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SICK. Okay, I was very momentarily irked with my boss, and he with me. He came to last night wanting some data, which I’m happy to provide. He wanted an aggregate number comparing it to some other data I had already provided which I had broken down into a single category. The problem is, I just KNOW the TPTB will want to compare the other categories to this one in particular. So, in ADDITION to giving the boss aggregate numbers, I’m breaking out the categories too. I am trying ANTICIPATE the boss’ needs, not react after the fact. So, anyway, I sent him the second batch of the data (one more to go) and went to his office to ensure he received it. He impatiently told me he did not need me to break it down as much as I had on subsequent tabs. I kind of impatiently told him that I was trying to anticipate questions and that I’d rather he had the data UP FRONT and not try to scramble for more later. He did apologize, and told me I was right. Well, I best get back to it. I’m cutting my lunch somewhat short. ---

I can see the forms now ‘Traindriver Zelerton cannot drive due to the need to pee every five minutes’. Thank goodness THAT cleared up! No parallel parking though we do a fair bit of reversing. The boss was talking about giving me an oral exam but then he got all flustered and said I could do a verbal test instead. Which is good cos they haven’t given me any oral training - just talked about trains ‘n’ things. \ OK what on earth do I get as a present for 2 (possibly 3) neighbour-children who appear to be under 5. It should probably be a secular gift as I’m not sure of their religion. _thinking hard_ ---

I really am making cookies tonight. Oatmeal chocolate chip to be exact. A batch for work and a batch for ACBG to take with him when he heads out tomorrow. I have pronounced myself sufficiently enough over **the sick** to bake and to allow him back in the house. I’m also making cheese straws for work, but that won’t happen until tomorrow night. I can only be so domestic for one night after all. I need to spread the domesticity out. Oh and I’m making my list of groceries needed for my annual New Year’s Day dinner. This involves going to several stores to get just the right stuff. I obsess over this dinner more than I do over any of the other social soirees at the swampcave. I looking at feeding sixteen to eighteen people. So far. There may be more. Right now, I think I shall have me an ice cold beerverage.
