Today is my 5th wedding anniversary. My husband and I are going out on a (eep!) _date!_ We’re going out to dinner, and probably out to hear a local band. The band is so loud that we probably won’t be able to talk to each other much. But what should we talk about at dinner?? Jobs–boring. Kids–they’re fine. We both already know that. Quick! I need ideas! ---

Christmas–check. We haven’t really discussed it yet. Babysitter trauma–she’s sat for these monsters before. They love her. No trauma there. Zenster the stud–well…thanks, but not tonight. Maybe when it’s _not_ my anniversary. 😃 ---

We’re back! We talked for a minute about Christmas. We talked a _lot_ about his band. We talked about whether or not his new meds are working. We did have a good time, though. It’s not too often we get to do this sort of thing. I work 9-5 Mon-Fri, and I bowl Monday nights. He works weird hours teaching guitar, Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat, and he gigs on Tuesdays and weekends, Sunday included. So no, we don’t get a lot of time together. The time we do have is usually in the wee hours of the morning. All together now… “Oh! So _that’s_ why your post count is so high!” 😃
