My first thought was _Rabble Rouser_ by Mungo Jerry. Great song that only oldies fans know. And I swear to God that if I had been standing on that ledge and heard Free Bird come on, I really would have jumped. ---

**Mr. Blue Sky** , it is, it was, and it was used during the “Run, Forrest, _run_!” scene, not the one in question. I do not dispute that there may be a song “Rabble Rouser” by Mungo Jerry, but I don’t think it’s used in _Forrest Gump_
