Has there ever been an “Ask The Lesbian” thread? I did a search and didn’t find anything. I know someone did an “Ask The Gay Guy!” (Esprix, I think), but I haven’t seen any lesbian ones. Would anyone want me to start one? 🙂 ---

**QueerGeekGirl** : Since you were so kind to offer me your Zomig paperclip dispenser in another thread, I did a search myself. I had half-remembered that **andygirl** had done one long ago. I was wrong, but in searching for it, I found [this one](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=69670&highlight=ask+AND+the+AND+lesbian) from a year or so back. I think we’d all agree though, that a year is a long time in Doperdom, and there are many new Dopers, including yourself, who never saw that thread. I’d say go for it! ---

I say go for it too. Maybe it’s just late, but I didn’t really understand what you said about your experience with your doctor, regarding the pap smear. (In Potter’s pit thread about his doctor’s visit.) I mean, I understood what she said to you was stupid, but your later comment regarding why she didn’t see the humor left me mystified. I’ll just say this, since I have little reason in my everyday, run of the mill life, to think about what a lesbian perception of a situation might be, I’d find it instructive to hear about things you encounter. If that makes sense! 🙂 ---

Great! I’ll go for it then! Thanks for doing that search, **Duke**. **Ellen** , I’ll answer your question here real quick. The reason I found it humorous is that lesbians are notorious for, [TMI AHEAD] finger fucker and fisting. Hence, she _could_ have been implying that I had enough fingers up my vagina to not warrant a pelvic. Heh! But she didn’t get it. :smack: ---

Tibs did an “ask the lesbian,” actually. I was just an enthusiastic participant. Of course, now I spend my days wishing I could put the ‘sex’ back in ‘homosexuality’, but I still remain a fountain of knowledge re: what it’s like to be a big dyke. ---
