In our previous thread discussing the quick reply box, a poster (I believe it was kaylasdad99) suggested moving it to **after** the number of pages in the thread display, which will remind users to read all the pages in the thread before popping off a quick reply.
We have made that change.

Makes sense, but now I think it looks funny 🙂 I was getting used to it where it was, and was in the habit of scrolling to check for multiple pages anyways. I guess I’ll get used to it, though 🙂

I’m pretty dumb. After reading this thread, I was like, ‘oh cool! I’ll go check it out.’ So I scrolled down to the bottom of the thread. Wait – I don’t see the page numbers before the quick-reply box. Hold on – I don’t see them _after_ it either. Oh man. My SDMB is broken. Yup. I’m a thinker, alright.

Good thing! I really got used to comparing the time of the last post to the adjacent “The time now is…” to see how old it is and/or how long it was since I loaded the page. Kinda missed the visual clue where the thread ends and the options start, too.
