Yesterday I went looking for The Kings “This Beat Goes On/Switchin’ To Glide”, listened to it a couple times, now it’s stuck in there. I even woke up in the middle of the night with it running through my head. ---

A local radio station (WXRT for those playing the home game) has a morning feature where they do a movie review and then play a song thematically tied to the movie somehow. The movie was “The Secret Life of Pets” and the followed by playing “[Pets](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xvGZPAAxu0)” by Porno for Pyros. For the next couple weeks I had _“We’ll make great pets… we’ll make great pets…”_ in my head. Finally, it went away. A couple days ago, someone on Facebook posted the news story of an “earth like” planet being found and commented on our new upcoming alien overlords. So, of course, I post “We’ll make great pets” and started the cycle anew. ---
