God help me, it’s [This!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NJqUN9TClM) I heard a snippet of the song on NPR and thought, “Hey, that’s kind of cool.” But then looked it up on YT and HATED the video, (although the singer is pretty cute.) So now it’s eternally implanted in my brain and it’s floating to the top lately. Not sure why. I’m too old to die young so not foreshadowing my own demise I hope. ---

The Cuckoo’s Nest. Sung by Ashley Hutchings, but it is traditional English folk music. Very rude! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk ---

> [@ftg](#): > > My current earworm is …, um, well … > > I don’t know the name of the song or the group. Grrr. > > Anyway, it’s from the season 5 finale of _Letterkenny_ “Bock et Biche”\*. It plays during the first fight scene. I’ve been able to find out about two other songs in that episode, but not this one. Googling lyrics doesn’t give me anything. Found the info: The Hunches _Your Sick Blooms_ from 2009. Here’s a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_QmqawgklA). The _Letterkenny_ visual to go with it are the hicks and les hiques beating on some degens from Laval. Letterkenny often does do “fight music” (and other types) well, as **Grrr!** notes. A good “bar band” sound fits a scrap\*. Still no luck on finding the lyrics. - I refuse to call an all out melee where someone can get seriously hurt a “donny”. ---

For about a week I have been singing to my dog(or myself) with nonsense lyrics set to the tune of the _Bonanza_ theme. I made the mistake of seeing the last ten or twenty seconds of one show. ---

I’m late to this particular party and I have no idea how I missed it originally came by it but ["horse outside"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljPFZrRD3J8)by the Irish satirical comedy group “The Rubberbandits” is a) hilarious, b) NSFW, c) a stone cold funky odyssey. I can’t get the chorus out of my head. nor “giddy up now baby…bless my soul” ---

Sometimes by Erasure. I’ve no idea why it went into my head but it’I has such a great melody and I think it’s rich territory for a female artist to do a slower cover.
