I was aimlessly wandering YouTube last night when I came upon a video about Slavic mythology that included a section about the [Vodyanoy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodyanoy). Different versions of the vodyanoy show in other cultures but one common thing he does is drag people underwater to serve as his slaves forever and keep their souls in teapots or cages. That, in turn, led me to cue up Sting’s [“The Soul Cages”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo5c8Qplfco) and it’s been echoing through my head ever since. (Sorry about the shaggy dog story.) ---

So I’ve set up a music thing in the kitchen for _Mrs. FtG_ to listen to tunes while getting her cooking on. It has Amazon Prime music and I added a mp3 thing the other day with a ton of tunes on it. So I played one folder to test it out: Sonny and Cher (or just Cher). So I have _I’ve Got You Babe_ running thru my head, right? Nope: _Bang, Bang_. Egad. Why _that_ one? Some songs are just fine once in a while. In earworm mode they are deadly. ---
