I need to get my hands on some mistletoe in the next day or two. Anyone know where I can get some in Chicago? Or overnighted via internet ordering? I’ve been to Meijer, Target, KMart a number of florists in Springfield, IL, but no one has it. It can be plastic or real. Thanks, Happy ---

I’ve seen mistletoe in supermarkets. Comes in little plastic bags, stapled to a cardboard easel. The leaves are real, the berries are fake[real ones are poisonous] Check in the floral department, or near the checkout stands. Barring that, call a Christmas tree farm. They sell a lot of seasonal greens, and may have the REAL stuff, poisonous berries and all. ---

Check out the lots that sell real Christmas trees–they’ve usually got wreaths and garlands and holly, so I would assume they’ve got mistletoe. ---

Last time I bought some I got it at a nursery. But you might luck out at a flower shop. ---

I was going to start a thread about this plant so , if you don’t mind , I shall tag it on here. I was going to ask if mistletoe is native to the US is was it introduced from Europe? Over here it grows mostly on oak trees . Does it do this in America or has it found a different host ? ---
