And the Pit of Despair was a clever device in the book that was severely watered down in the movie, but in essence in both versions was Humperdinck’s violent hunting and torture playground, built underground. ---

The Horrors of Spider Island, an MST3K flick. There’s a great riff about how the “monster” (a “spider man” with the face of a human, the hands of a human, and the body of a human) is drowning in Coco Wheats. Made funnier by the fact that I was eating them at the time. ---

**Kalifornia** (1993) - song featured: “Unfulfilled” **Empire Records** (1995) - song featured: “Thorn in my Side” **Beavis & Butthead** (the TV series) also featured the videos for “Delusional” and “Dine Alone” I could’ve sworn that “Freezing Process” was featured in a movie soundtrack, but IMDb doesn’t list that one. ---
