Yeah, it’s too bad we can’t have cross-overs. The Thing was quite the solo guest star hero for awhile. I preferred him to Wolverine. OTOH, having multiple large production companies competing to do these stories “right” whatever that is for comic books - is probably very healthy for us. ---

My parents, in their 50s and neither regular movie-goers, made it a point to see the Spider-Man films in the theater. I think there’s lots of casual viewers like that. And Wolverine has been Marvel’s most popular character by far since the 80s. It’s only very recently that Iron Man has jumped to the forefront, and that’s all RDJ. He would have been just as popular playing any A-lister. ---

Jeez, you know, as advanced as CGI is getting, it’s hard to understand why we can’t have a live-action Marvel TV show that features superheroes. (Not counting SHIELD here because it’s not about the supers.) Why the hell can’t we have a decent Spider-Man TV series? ---

The solution is to just give her back her original explanation for her powers and suddenly she becomes easy to explain: She twiddles her fingers and things break or catch fire or explode. Or the alternate explanation: she twiddles her fingers and bad guys get bad luck. Easy-as-pie. All that said, I get that they’re gonna screw with the costume, but dammit, she’d better have that tiara-thing. ---
