# Quirky and possibly quaint things you do so you don't forget stuff

I had a know-it-all Catholic friend repeat this (over and over, to diverse audiences who’d roll their eyes) as THE way to remember to make _“The Sign Of The Cross”_ in the right direction.

I retorted that it doesn’t help unless you’re a rich guy from a century ago, who had specific pockets in his vest… excuse me, _waistcoat…_ dedicated to one’s billfold and pocket watch.
