I am a sucker for weird covers. Some of my faves: [Prozak for Lovers (I and II)](http://www.brucelash.org/): smooth bossanova versions of such hits as _Psycho Killer_, _Aqualung_, and _Don’t Fear the Reaper_ [Yidcore](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yidcore): Hardcore punk versions of traditional Jewish music (and _Fiddler on the Roof_). Probably not that interesting unless you know the music already. Even now, but especially in the 1970’s, [Ralph Lundsten](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_Lundsten) was most definitely “quirky”. That said, I found it strangely listenable. [Here’s a sample](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF5pbn-FRzs). ---
