I’ve been lurking on and off since DAY ONE pretty much. Joined shortly in 2006 for 30? day freebie, that expired, never subscribed, then got on board when you could finally be a free permanent guest, which was not very long ago. So, we are talking 1998? to nearly the present with one short presence in 2006 ? Sounds like a rough version of 10 years to me. Not defending the other person in any other way, but unlike Bigfoot, rare long term lurkers do exist. ---

And even if by some miracle they haven’t, plenty of mods have seen my posts. The inescapable conclusion is simply that I’m not a sock. These posters really can’t think of any better insult than yelling “sock” or “troll”, so they disregard the evidence and keep yammering on in between shoveling handfuls of lard into their gawps. It is a sad state of affairs that, despite the apparent outrage of so many of our “best and brightest” (those are sarcasm quotes, btw), they really just can’t seem to demonstrate how they are in fact superior, other than by a self-satisfied plebiscite of the mediocre morons. ---

The constant sock accusations get tiresome, I think the main reason people do this is so they can later get some bragging rights if they are proven to be correct. That’s fine if that sort of thing gives them warm fuzzy feelings about themselves but I just wish they’d make their accusations, report the possible sock to the mods and then move on. The CSI: Sock Squad posts where they start comparing the Possible Sock to the Previous Poster gets dull fast and usually brings in more people to start with their own comparisons and whom they think is hiding behind the sock and dredges up old complaints about the Previous Poster and it just goes on forever. Dullsville! You may not be a sock but I don’t think the other insult is that far off the mark. Let’s face it, telling people how to post and then insulting their intelligence and trying to come off as superior is pretty much the modus operandi for some trolls, and an intelligent guy like you can’t deny that, right? But then, all the troll accusations get old, too. In the case of either sock or troll the best way to respond is to ignore them. So I just wish that others would either drop the sock and troll stuff and move on to more creative mocking or just plain ignore you and your ilk. Not that your “I have a Thesaurus and I’m not afraid to use it” posts aren’t entertaining in a way but it is all getting old fast and I have a short attention span. But anyway, I won’t presume to tell other posters how to post so I will take my own advice and go post some kittens pics in MPSIMS for myself and the other Tards to enjoy. Have fun, all! Let me slow it down for you – I’m all about making my posts handicapped-accessible. 1: I _did_ post occasionally back before pay-to-play. When you see those online maps, with an arrow pointing to the middle of the page and the labe “You are here”, they are not trying to say that you are the center of the universe. Your (again, that one is for **St. Anger** ) weak accusations of hypocrisy, while certainly more literate than the rest, have already been leveled multiple times in this thread alone. Reporting a thread to be moved is a little different than reporting someone for a bannable offense. And seeing as threads get moved, but I’m not banned, it appears I’m in the right. Come on, people.
