# QUIT saying "Here's why!" ... and here's why

You are writing the teaser headline for an online article. A piece, an article, a column, a blog. An informative body of writing, be it factual or opinion.

_This article, by definition, contains the “here’s why.”_ **It IS the here’s why.** It is imbecilic to add those words to the headline, as if there are headlines that don’t point to an article at all. Cut it out!

That is all.

You don’t need this. By not having anymore text, people will know that is all. You don’t have to specifically tell people that is all.

You don’t need this. Simply by having typed something, people will know you are “just saying” something.

Hahahaha! All of you! Brilliant. This is why I love it here.  
And incidentally, I think it’s time to also move on from “the real reason.” By now, we all know that the real reason is because of that one weird trick.
