# Quite another Cartoon Dog

There was a snickering dog named Muttley, who usually was snickering at Dick Dastardly in **Wacky Races**. Mumbly, a somewhat different cartoon dog, was often confused with him.

But lately I’ve been having flashbacks about something similar to Scooby Doo and his Scooby snacks.

This cartoon dog was given a special snack BEFORE a task he might otherrwise not be willing to undertake. He would go into such an orgasmic delight that he would literally float off the ground, and then have a soft landing.

Any ideas?

[Snuffles](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snuffles_(cartoon_character)) the cartoon dog from the Quickdraw McGraw show. I vaguely remember the character.

Thank you both! It’s funny what I manage to recall and what I forget instead.

_Quick Draw McGraw!_ I don’t care that I had forgotten the dog’s name, but bothers me that I had completely forgotten the connection. (One other classic appearance was with [Snagglepuss](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snagglepuss).)

Would I have remembered where I first saw it had it been my more favored, and earlier, [Huckleberry Hound](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huckleberry_Hound)? I wonder.
