They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. I hate to say it but after looking at that gallery I’m somewhat more inclined to take stock in the ancient art of [physiognomy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physiognomy). A lot of those mug shots have just the sort of of hard-bitten faces you’d expect to see. But clearly, they need to release Heidi. She couldn’t possibly be guilty of any crime except breaking young men’s hearts.😉 Some of the expressions of shock, dismay, incredulity, and anger beg to have their stories. told. ---

My hometown newspaper shows all the mugshots of the day before’s arrests, at least on their website. Some odd-looking people there. I guess criminals are just not the sharpest-looking people. ---
