Like I said, my favorite is the Book of Thoth, but it scares the hell out of people for some reason. It was designed by Alestar Crawley, I think is the problem. I’ve never been into Rider Waite myself, but it’s the best selling. Really, just get what you like. What are you into? There’s more than one kick ass Lord of the Rings deck. Hmm, I might make for a confusing subject of a tarot reading. Though I know nothing about tarot readings. The poll result gave me “Death”, but it was in a virtual tie with “The High Priestess”, with both at 69%. I suspect it chose “Death” because I strongly disagreed with the “Are you female?” and “Are you a mother figure?” questions. Those two were followed by “The Devil” (50%), “The Tower”, “The Fool”, “Magician” and “Justice” (all 44%), “The Sun” and “Strength” at 38% each, “The Lovers” (25%) and finally, “Wheel of Fortune” and “The Emperor” at 13% each. ---

I got Death at 88% and The Lovers at 81%. I guess that isn’t too surprising… ---

I gotta put in a plug for Egypt Urnash’s [_Tarot of the Silicon Dawn._](http://egypt.urnash.com/tarot/) …and in general other non-standard sets like the minchiate deck, but I’ve kind of known Egypt since when, so a specific plug there. I think my only “standard” tarot deck is Palladini’s Aquarian Tarot, which is very pretty in a 1970’s way.
