For those who say that there’s only one (or two, or whatever) choices left, are you using some page or app to make that determination? There are times when I only see some number of answers, but I don’t just assume there can’t be others.

I hadn’t even seen SAVVY as an option. Even if I had, I’m not sure I could have come up with a better sleuth word than GASPS. Hopefully I’d have spotted SAVVY if that had been the answer. I still had one more wrong guess if I needed it.

I was curious about your guesses and looked at Scoredle. You put in the answer word, and then your guesses, and it will tell you how many words you had left and shows what they are. Some of the words are bogus words though, but it’s fun to see how you did if you aren’t sure what you had to choose from.
I write out all I can find in Notepad (looking at available letters) as I’m playing so I know what I’m facing, but I can and do miss seeing words. I have used online anagram solvers before too if I get really stuck.

That really was a great sleuth word! In hindsight, I should have gone with one earlier on, but I didn’t realize I missed seeing 3 words for one of them, and I didn’t see Sassy either.

I wasn’t aware of scoredle. I just tried it, and it’s an interesting way to analyze a game after it’s over, but not much help while I’m actually playing.
There is a crossword solver page that I use occasionally. It’s not ideal; you have to guess where the yellow letters belong, you can’t exclude letters you know aren’t in the answer, and it doesn’t filter out the really obscure words which almost certainly aren’t in the wordle, or quordle answer list.
Plus, I always feel a little like I’m cheating when I use it.

I write stuff out in notepad too if it’s a trickier word. It’s much easier that way to try different letter positions and list the various words that could fit.

A double 7 day today! I needed that after my poor performance yesterday. 😀
