Oh, you’re right! I was luckier than I thought then. I sometimes forget to think of the first and last letters being the same. I had thought of Wight, but didn’t think it would be on the answer list, though you never know.

Interesting words tonight. CRATE and CRAVE; once you got one, you probably got the other. I don’t know if that makes it easier or harder. And both were slightly trappy; CRAVE or CARVE, CRATE or CATER.
SPIKE turned out to be a bit of a wasted guess, except a yellow Y in fifth position eliminates a lot of possibilities. That gave me what I needed for NYLON.

Probably - lol…it’s out of habit, but also I just don’t know if others are lurking, but this time of night it’s not likely anyone hasn’t played yet.
