Yeah, I can see that qwordle would require a slightly different strategy than wordle, et al. I’m not sure that finding that strategy interests me as much as the others. Perhaps it seems that it rewards luck a little too much. Match two letters that happen to be in the same word and it’s a big help, match two that are in different words and not so much.

I was a little worried to not have any green after the first two guesses, but it worked out.

Dumpy to the rescue again, for more than I expected! But I didn’t see Steak and was sure it was Sweat (after eliminating Stead and Steam).

I was too quick to toss up Stiff without thinking it through…a sleuth word would have been better, but I just wasn’t thinking things through enough.
@chiliwillybing Congrats on your first 10! At least you didn’t fail…that G saved you.

Flume Another uncommon word, at least to me. I am aware of it, but I felt Fluke was more likely. Beech, on the other hand, is common enough, but I just resisted it and went for the more common Bench. That’ll teach me…don’t go with the most likely common words.
Good thing I didn’t see Perky…may have chosen that over Jerky too - lol.
Yeah, me either. I gave it a chance though, and I did enjoy a few of the games, but I’ve failed twice now and that’s just not fun. I might play it now and again though for something different, but I don’t feel the game is set up very well for success, at least not for the average person. Or maybe I’m below average…some of the games just hurt my brain. The playing field really is too wide open: British spellings, plural words, and maybe past tense words too, plus obscure connections, and uncommon or niche words I’d never know or get.
I thought I was playing the 2/21 game, but turned out to be past midnight…so this below is for 2/22’s game #785,
I failed this one. I’d never know the word Servo, much less connect it with Handy (still can’t figure out how they are connected). Handy was a more obtainable word, but I was getting too overwhelmed trying to figure out which letters went with which word, and I was trying to solve the S word mostly, so I just didn’t see it.
ETA - hope I didn’t spoil anyone…fixed now.

I wonder if the double-Z will cause problems for anyone.

MIDGY to sleuth out Musty, Dusty, Gusty. I could have done Midge too, as the Y had to go there, but I was curious if it’d take Midgy. I didn’t even see Knave and thought I had it with Awake. And then faced with Chill or Chili, I had to go with Chili.

Livin’ life on the edge without Choir today. And got lucky with choosing the correct letters for the #3 word. Not so lucky with the 50/50, but I’ll happily take the 7.
