Didn’t trust the B this time. Totally good with my score in any case.
So I found out why I’m not getting the Weekly Challenge. It’s my browser…it doesn’t show up on Firefox (even with extensions disabled), but it does show up on Google Chrome. There is a gray icon with a star and a lock symbol that sits next to the drop-down menu for the games. I didn’t see where it says it’s only on Mondays though…clicking the star icon just says unlock when you play the daily game.
Not sure I’ll switch to playing on Chrome just for that (I’ll lose my stats if so), but at least the mystery is solved.

Yeah, probably not worth switching over just for one puzzle. We have all week to solve it though, so if you do go back and forth between browsers you could always do it sometime later if you wanted to.

Summary
Saw the three-word trap (Alike, Aline, Alive) after my 3rd guess, but decided to wait on that…sure glad I did. Needed Budge to at least check the 7 words I was seeing for #2, and it helped, but still left two possibilities…guessed correctly thankfully. And the U helped solve Value. Then the V told me what the three-word trap was. Went better than I thought it was going to!

Summary
Sequence was being rather generous with the first three words, only to slap us with a trap at the end. 
Out of the 5 words it could be, Gable would check the most (3 of them), and then faced with a 50/50 chance, I chose incorrectly, dang it.

Nailing Maple was awesome, given there were several other choices. And today sure was your day with two 6’s. Nice! 
LOL, hardly, I just didn’t even think of fable or gable, so it was just a choice between ladle and maple. IOW dumb luck

I didn’t like billy the first time it was an answer, and I like it even less as a repeat.
Looky what showed up…they now have the Weekly Challenge on Firefox and it was unlocked after I played Quordle tonight. I remembered seeing the word Schwa in here, but I didn’t remember the other words at all, so I went ahead and played it.
