Had a bit of a tough time nailing that first word. By guess #4 I wanted to get an L in there, and I was thinking Apple, but I typed it in wrong - lol…I didn’t think about the E not being last, but maybe subconsciously I knew it wasn’t. I looked up Appel afterwards and I guess it’s a Fencing term. The rest of the words fell into place, and I was glad I got Poker right (over Power).

I almost trusted the B, but changed my mind…good thing! Though, I didn’t trust it in Quordle, and I should have.
I just played Octordle “Rescue” - they come up with the start word and the next 3 guesses, and then you just have 9 guesses to get 8 words, which of course means you can only miss once. It says “you may lose, and lose often”, but I thought, we’ll see about that! Not that I’m so confident in my abilities - lol, but challenge accepted. And I just missed one word, so I won!
Nice work! I haven’t tried that one or the octordle sequence yet, but I need to. Having to work off of a predetermined start is a very interesting twist!

Angel was a good choice…I had 4 words for that one, and it told me what it was, but also for the last word I saw Onion as a possibility (along with Widow), so getting the N was key.
Yeah, Guava was hard to see. I love Guava juice…I don’t buy it often, but it’s making me crave some now.
