Darn it…my win streak finally came to an end 
. I had won 5 games in a row - guess it was a matter of time that I didn’t get so lucky - lol.
I thought if you got two wrong, you lost, but it let me keep going. I missed Charm (put Cramp instead), and I missed Check (put Cheek instead). I had Modal, but I solved Inter first, and after that it ended the game.

Suing turned out to be a good guess word, even though it wasn’t right…ruled out a few words for two of them, and gave me the N and G for the #1 word. I didn’t see Spiky or Aloof at first, but that’s all there was from there. And thankfully Spiky gave the P for Pagan (I had 5 words for that one).

Decided to toss up two new start words…didn’t go so well for solving that first one. I wanted to check the H and R, and I saw Harry first, and then Harpy, but for some reason not Hardy. But thankfully the rest fell into place easily.

This was a tough one. My misses were the same as you with Scrub > Scrum, and then I was left with Faint or Paint, and Fence or Pence. And of course I chose the wrong letter (F). 
I got Taker because I played Knock and got that K thankfully.

Woohoo! No misses…makes up for the fail yesterday. It was weird not having an S in there - lol, that is until the last word I solved - I saw Lasso and Salvo, and happy to have guessed correctly.
Have you tried the Theme one yet? If not, you click on “Home” up top, and it’s under “More”. You pick the category, but I think it’d be more of a challenge to not know what it is until you start seeing words. It’s still fun though, but the two I’ve played so far were pretty easy (I did one of the Animals and one of the Colors).

No, I didn’t even see that! I tried animals #1 and that was fun, but I object to them using liger which IMO is not a legitimate animal. I would have gotten a 9.

I had Title, Tilde, and Utile for choices again (when Tilde was an answer a few days ago). I really didn’t think Utile would be used (it’s somewhat archaic), so I was sure it’d be Title this time, but nope…it’s the uncommon word. Was sweating beads when I saw the _ U_ _ Y trap, but thankfully I got it.

Regarding the Animals 1, I hear ya on Liger…I kind of wondered about it, but I went with it in any case.
I played Pattern 1 tonight, and I had issue with two of the words…well, one of them is considered slang, so I’ll give that one a pass, but the other word was not a legit word, and there was still a totally legit one not used that they could have gone with instead. So that’s also where the “anything goes” comes in. It does make it a little more challenging though. I was lucky to escape without failing (using up all my guesses) when I finally saw the slang word.
