Tough game tonight, I thought. HAWKS turned out to be a great sleuth word. I needed it to choose among HATCH, BATCH, and WATCH; and it gave me the K and W for KNOWN.

JUMPY to the rescue for the _OIST trap (also saw Posit too). I went back and forth for a bit between Black and Flack…finally decided to trust the B, but nope. Except I got the B for the last word, though I think I would have seen Borax regardless.

Oof…tough one. Two 50/50’s wrong, then needed BROWN to sleuth the _ATCH trap, and before I went with that, with just the O and K, I couldn’t see any words at all. Glad to avoid a fail.

I almost went with Midge - I’ve used that word a few times recently, and it’d tell me what it was out of the 5 choices I had, but I just felt Beige or Guide were more likely, so I took my chances on one of those two. I’m good with a 7 though.
