Here is a link to the thread: > [@Discussion thread for the Hamas Attacks Israel thread, October 2023](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/discussion-thread-for-the-hamas-attacks-israel-thread-october-2023/991317): > > This is a dedicated discussion thread for the following Breaking News thread: If you have a news item to post, please post it in the other thread. If you have something that you wish to discuss in more detail, please use this thread. If your post is directly related to a news item that was posted in the other thread, please link to the news post for reference. I see no problems on a Windows 11 computer in Chrome, using Discourse-Classic Theme. To check theme: - Click on your Avatar next to the Menu. (Upper Right Corner) - Select Preferences (The last symbol on the right) - Select Preferences again (The gear symbol) - Click on Interface. (Should be the last choice.) * * * * * * It is most likely a Firefox issue handling some stray unusual piece of code, possibly in one of the less used themes. --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/quote-and-reply-functions-not-working-and-page-displaying-oddly-one-thread-only/992535)._
