I’m confused about how to quote another poster. This used to work: [quote=Postername]Text1[/quote], but now it doesn’t. Then I tried without the poster’s name: [quote]Text2[/quote] Then > Text3 Then \>Text4. What is the correct syntax? After posting, I see that \< blockquote \> works but I can’t refer to the poster or the post. There used to a “Quote” function available in the forums but I don’t see it any more. ---

However, the best way to quote another poster is to highlight the text you want to quote and click the “Quote” button that appears. That will insure that the quote is properly formatted and links back to the quoted post. ---

Since the answer was so fast, I have another question and, rather than start a new thread, I’ll ask here: What is the time limit for editing a post? I think it used to be five minutes but now it’s longer. ---

I don’t recall any official announcement, but I’ve seen posts reporting an ability to edit up to 15 minutes later. I haven’t tested that myself. ---

It’s 15 min, but if you edit it after 5 min it will show an orange pencil icon on the post. ---
