Strikes me that **milroyj** is something of a “glass is half-empty” kind of guy. After all, but for the incident at Chappaquiddick, Kennedy might have become President. The whole thing might actually have saved _milroy_\*'s life, because i think he might have burst an artery with Teddy in the White House. He wouldn’t have been able to get rid of the ignorant vitriol quickly enough, and it would have overtaken his body in short order. ---

Not a mystery to me **Leaper** , **milroyj** can only bring the dubious past to be outraged of the Democrats, conservatives really have very little to bitch about the current candidates, and in the case of Ted K, it is bitching that has failed time and again, and only because of that stupid thing of “innocent until proven guilty”. I see this rant as proof that they really have nothing much to throw against the current candidates, silly and sad at the same time. Sad because current events make a mockery of whatever point the OP was trying to make. [The Godfather] Kay Adams: Do you know how naive you sound, Michael? Presidents and senators don’t have men killed. Michael: Oh. Who’s being naive, Kay? [/The Godfather] In light of the Iraq war, whatever Ted K did, (and we have to remark once again, not charged for) pales in comparison on what the Bush administration did by twisting the intelligence on Iraq and then invading. The blood debt of 9/11 is IMO is more than paid for (and the wrong blood to boot), and I see even more death to follow. 4 more wars indeed. ---

ya know what? I think until the OP has come in here w/proof of his assertions (Ted a murderer, Ted having been drunk at the time) no other point should be bothered with. After all, that’s the crux of his OP, and he’s yet to provid proof of either. is there proof that Ted was even charged w/manslaughter (let alone murder, let alone found guilty)? is there proof that he was drunk? Seems to me the last time we issued those challenges and instead of proving his assertions, he slunk away like, well, like a **milroyj**. Perhaps if we just continue to demand that same proof that we wanted way back when, he’ll slunk away again. ---
