I haven’t been a fan of his comedy since _Mork & Mindy_ and I think his public wackiness overshadowed his acting. He was truly a genius at acting…so versatile and so believable in his roles. I guess that’s because he was always acting. We probably never saw the real Robin Williams. ---

Well, damn. not another one. I have to admit I’ve never been a huge Robin Williams fan. I loved _Mork & Minday_ when it first came out, but I wonder how much of that was due to it being my stoner days. After that, I started finding his antics too childish, way over the top. But I loved his dramatic turns. I haven’t looked through the entire thread, but has anyone mentioned _One Hour Photo_ (2002)? That’s one of my favorites of his. RIP, Robin. Nanu nanu. ☹ ---

I have no words. Robin Williams is one of the few celebrities who I was aware of, and this shocks me. I did not know he battled depression. ---
