I’m sure you have something to contribute to the world, but I don’t think rap is really your thang, holmes. A lack of melanin is the _least_ of your worries, I’m afraid. Does it take a Simon Cowellesque verbal beat-down to get it through? I don’t think we want to be that cruel. Just…find a different hobby, and I think you’ll be a lot happier and more productive in the long run. ---

Straight = direct, Dope = information. It is not referring to linear drugs. To be frankly honest, you seem a little lost. This is the Straight Dope. We like to think of ourselves as elitist, but we’re not picky; anybody can play, if they play by the rules. So, if you want to stay, read the rules. Or the Ru13z, whichever you prefer. Oh, and this is not the rest of the internet; we tend to spell things correctly here, and mock those who don’t. Well, smoetiems, anywya. Er, peace out, my homie? ---
